Watching the 4th quarter and overtime if Shaub was protected better they may have won.

He was getting beat up

He got mauled. I felt bad for him and that last shot he took was a hit to the head. I almost shot my tv when there was no penalty called...well I don't have a gun but it ran through my mind.

The Texans are beaten up and demoralized. I doubt the niners get much of a game from them next week.

I disagree because the Texans will be pass happy with the Niners imo,they must back up their QB and this will be the game to do it.

The Niners will put more pressure on him than Seattle was able to so it's not really the same game. He's not going to have the time had had against you guys. Totally different game.

He needs to put his handing off shoes on and then work from there. He is still a very young player as is Wilson. You can't just put the weight of the offense of him. He's not ready for that and the pistol has been effectively shut down. It's a long season and in the end we will be in the playoffs...as long as we don't suffer more injuries.

True but two passes i was surprised Sherman did not go for them,he was containing Johnson it seemed,did not want to risk him getting behind him i assume,so Sherman was waiting,baiting,he is like that.

For as bad as that pic was. Schaub LIT up Seattle the first half. If your gonna crush him for the gagging towards the end. You HAVE to give him credit for getting his team up by that much. No other QB has done that vs seattle this year......

I gave him credit in another post. He played well. If not for that one throw its a great game all things considered. He blew it but the point was that he almost ALWAYS does. He's like Romo but less mobile.

He played well in the first half. But his offense only averaged 21 yards per drive in the second half. He's a decent QB but he plays not to lose and cracks as the pressure builds.

He is who he is. I agree. He is a qb with a great D and a great run game.

I think the pic is more on playcalling. If we were in that situation, I want carroll to run the ball then give it back to the D.....

But to be fair to kubiak, RW did just go 98 yards for a 6 so....darned if you do darned if you don't....thats why they get paid the big bucks.

Why doesn't Matt Ryan get the same criticism as Matt Schaub?

Schaub has a career 91.6 qb rating...Ryan has a 91.3

Schaub is 1-1 in the playoffs

Ryan is 1-4 in the playoffs and 1-3 this year while Schaub despite the debacle is still 2-2
