Any chance Atlanta moves one or both this winter?
While we don't know how the new Atlanta ballpark is going to play for hitting stats, but the move out of PETCO has really benefited Kemp. While the sabermetric numbers don't rate him favorably, 30 HR/100 RBI guys don't grow on trees in today's game. Kemp may serve as Freddie Freeman's power protection and I'd imagine the Braves will hold onto him to further build up his value.
Markakis, though, is playing on a reasonable contract and could have value to any given team. In 2016, he drove in the most runs he had since 2009 (89) and third most in his career. He plays a good right field and also drew 71 walks this year.
Thoughts?
