if too many innings is what is taking a toll on Cain, its likely due to something very foreign to you as a Mariner fan. you see, theres this thing called the post season, which typically adds on an additional 20+ innings to your total for the season.


if we're burying him though, at least he wont be as deep as you guys have been the last few years.

CC's been in the postseason every year since 2007. Seems to still be going strong into his 30's

Cliff Lee pitched a combined 76 innings in the 2009 and 2010 postseason.... and had the lowest ERA of his career in 2011
