i saw the boxscore today 5 goals on 14 shots? i read somewhere that is a new nhl record for lowest save % in a game?


i didnt see the game how were the goals he let in?

I was there, and the all but the third were really a direct result of defensive breakdowns. Even the third he mad a good kick save, but it bounced out to an islander who had no one covering him. We actually dominated play for most of the game after the first 8 minutes.

yeah i saw them....i dont blame him for the 1st one and the second i didnt get a good replay of. the 3rd he did kick that rebound out wide but i dunno maybe a marty 10 years younger would get over the save it...the breakaway goal was a bummer he couldnt just poke that puck out? and the last goal top shelf is a good shot but still if you want to be big dog you gotta make the saves...thats my only complaint against marty esp after 4 and 27 left. you gotta do more then just make the simple saves...you gotta stop the ones that are sure goals

Marty should be traded. In new team he can probably shine again for a while.

i know no one wants to see him elias gone because they have been "loyal" even though i think marty knew he was a direct benifactor of stevens and nieds and stayed for less because of it. BUT a team like this cant be playing a 39 year old goalie 60 games next year and i dont want moose starting the other 20+
