Hear that on the way home. Hopefully just being careful with their players.

Some good news:

The results are in and the MRI confirms Marsh only sustained a "slight sprain."

Will most likely miss most of preseason and possibly 1 or more regular season games, but he should still be playing for us again for 2014.

I have to say he really surprised me in the 1st preseason game. The guy was making plays all over the field. Seemed like on more than one occasion I would see a Seahawk make a play and ask myself who it was to only hear the announcer say "and there is Cassius Marsh again." Looks like a playmaker for that defense (like you guys needed anymore of those).

Marsh is a beast. Already back to practice.

--The MRI revealed a mild sprain, but Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Marsh had no problems in Thursday's walkthrough practice. The Seahawks play the San Diego Chargers Friday night at CenturyLink Field.

"It must have been a laying of hands," Carroll said, smiling about of Marsh. "He got out there today and did awesome. If he's OK [Friday] he has a chance to play. We're very happy about that. And the laying of hands reference is just in jest."

Sweet! Marsh looks like the next gem, one of many the Seahawks FO has found.

Excited to see what he brings along with other youngsters like Jordan Hill and Greg Scruggs. I think the D Line has the potential to be better this year. Especially if you include K Will into the mix on the inside. We lost a few guys but excited to see the younger guys can bring.

If Marsh has success it shouldn't shock anyone, You saw it in college with him. The guy never quits and that's what you need in the NFL. When we drafted him all i heard was praise praise and more praise for the pick.

The lines seeem to be one of those situations were the Seahawks haven't exactly hit the ball out of the park with draft picks and have had to rely on vets and FAs. It's not like that didn't work out, but it's still great to develop these guys out of the draft because the depth helps.

Marsh has the potential to be a top result draft pick for the Dline in the PC/Schneider era so far. Way to early to judge this, but nice to see the potential, especially with the pass rush. He looks like a pass rush demon.
