USC WR Marqise Lee arrived at the Combine at 5-foot-11 and 3/4 inches and 192 pounds.
Lee also has 9 1/2 inch hands and 31 and 3/4 inch arms. The Trojans receiver had a drop rate of 12.31 percent, which was higher than his previous seasons. Our own Josh Norris would not be surprised if Lee is currently sitting outside of the first-round and looking in.

Is this guy serious??? Lee is not a 1st rounder? If he is there at #34 its a no brainer pick.

Coach Gruden likes his wideouts big......over 6' tall, I'm not sure if he fits the profile required to become the teams #1 guy. I actually like Lee and his body of work at USC. Would love to have him but that would mean that our career #2 guy would continue to fill a slot that does not suit him.

Garcon, Lee, and Reed would be nasty. Lee has huge talent his numbers werent there b/c he was hurt. I don't buy the height thing. I hope Lee falls in the draft. If the height is the case you would take Robinson over Lee b/c he is over 6 feet tall? Crazy!!

He was hurt last year. 2012 stats 118 rec 1721 yards 14TD's. 2011 stats 73 rec 1143 yards 11Td's. Are you really giving me an argument gkekoa?? He is a must have player if available.

I was asking. It's as simple as that. I know people are drooling over him but he had a poor season this year.

He is 10x better than Robert Woods was. Woods was a mid 2nd round pick. If he falls to us that would be amazing.

I've always liked Marquis Lee. In fact, I liked him better than Robert Woods. Of course, I was hoping we drafted him, last year. He is right under 6'0. However, he plays taller than his height. Last year, he was hurt, so this is why he has kind of been the forgotten phenom. We all know what kind of year he had in 2012. It's hard to ignore. Not to mention, he'd be hard to pass up if he's available at #34. The question is, will Jay Gruden draft him. We all know that he likes wideouts with height. Therefore, I would think Gruden would problem draft Kelvin Benjamin or Jordan Matthews, if they were available. Of course, we never know what a coach's draft board is. :noidea:

It looks like Benjamin and Matthews are going to be there. Benjamin is a boom\bust type player. Anyone remember Mike Williams from USC? Matthews over Lee is ridiculous. Gruden will catch a lot of heat for that.

Why would Gruden catch heat? He's not making the pick, Allen is. Allen has final say on all personnel decisions. Even if we chose Matthews, he is a good player. Not sure I would take him at 34, however. Just depends on who else is on the board.

I am saying if Lee is still on the board. If Gruden is banging the table for a player he is going to get him. Especially an offensive player. jy19 you would really take Matthews or Benjamin over Lee? The only three guys that should be taken over Lee is Watkins, Evans and maybe Beckham.

No doubt Gruden has influence, but the final say is with Allen. I would probably take Lee over Matthews. Benjamin, I'm not so sure. Honestly, I don't know much about Benjamin.

I am a huge fan of Kelvin Benjamin. I saw him play quite a bit, this past year. I like his size and leaping ability to pluck balls out the air. However, the more I watch him, he doesn't get yac. That is big for me. I like WRs, who can get it, break tackles and go downfield. Sure, he does have those moments, but that's not his forte'. Also, he seems a bit slow. He kind of reminds me of a bigger version of Leonard Hankerson. With that being said, Benjamin is a boom or bust player.

If that's the case, we can't afford to take him in the 2nd. We can't miss on that pick. We need a sure fire hit and an immediate contributor. If there is anything more than a low level risk that the guy can play at the NFL level, pass and move onto your next player.

Assuming Lee is on the board at 34, I would be hard pressed to pass him up, however how do you see him being used on this team? Do you then think that coach Gruden would still insist on acquiring that big wideout?? I appreciate your input on this thanks!!
