If we somehow pick Lee at 34 (huge long shot), then my guess is Gruden will go with the WR combo of Garcon, Lee, Hank/Robinson with Briscoe sprinkled in in the Red Zone. Reed would be a big target as well. Actually not a bad receiving corps. He'd probably look for his big WR next year. Pushing one of Hank/Briscoe/Robinson out.

Its been well know that Benjamin is a boom/bust type player. There is huge risk if we take him. Lee is not a big WR but who cares. He is great after the catch and he gets vertical. He dominated in 2012. I wouldn't mind us trading up for him. You don't need big wide outs to be successful. I think Lee is more talented than any big wide out in this draft. So you have to draft talent.

Why didn't he recover from his injury this season? He wasn't dominant early and he wasn't dominant early.

If I'm not mistaken Lee has the higher grade/rank over Benjamen and Matthews. He does seem like a no-brainer but
i think a Matthews/Benjamen WR may be better just for red zone/run blocking. The skins' tried to use A.Robinson as a #2 and it was up and down. I'd imagine Lee would have the same problems in his rookie year.

Lee made a catch yesterday at the combine that typified what we have been missing with guys like Hank & Morgan. If he is there at #34 you certainly take him. I don't think he will be though...

I have my fingers crossed that he might drop b/c of a bad 40 time. The rotoworld draft guy said he would be there for us in the 2nd. I think he is on crack but there is hope.

Honestly, If he's there...and he's completely healthy, no crazy character issues, red flags, etc. and he dropped all over a 4.5....then yes I'd rush to go draft him.

Serious question.

Did his injury cause him to run a slow 40 and can he recover from the injury fully?

I think that he's a "gamer" meaning that when the lights are on he shows up. Could be that there is entirely too much focus on these combine measurables and less so on if a guy can play the game.
