I don't know about you guys, but I'd like to sign Iannetta for as long as possible please.
He was awful last year, not much better than Zunino offensively.

Glad the Angels (at least so far) appeared to have given up on him too early.

I was impressed with Karns' performance. That's a litterbox, and in 5 innings, he gave up 1 run, 5 hits, and had 7 K's.

I'll take it for a 3-5 starter. More than solid, actually.
I was pretty happy with his start also... The most impressive thing for me was getting out of innings with RISP, he did it a couple of times and luckily the Yanks pulled a Mariner and didn't hit at all with guys on base.

Speaking of RISP, Kyle Seager cannot stop hitting into double plays!!! Frustrating as fuck.

Really enjoyed watching productive outs and manufacturing runs. As ugly as the 5 game losing streak was, the M's are only a game out of first

I'm convinced they will hit the cover off the ball on the road before going ice cold in their next game at home again.
I would love them to hit the cover off the ball, but for fucks sake they need some consistency! Get a damn base hit at home :suds:

M's should easily handle CC
Cautiously optimistic.

The good news: King Felix owns New York and Cano seems to abandon the homerun swing here and settle for the base hits the team sorely needs.

The bad news: The Mariners are 1-4 against left-handed starters this year and lefty starters have posted a 2.10 ERA against our offense. The one game we won against a left-handed starter occurred because the Rangers bullpen experienced an epic melt down. But the game starter, Martin Perez, contained them, and left the game after 6 innings with a tie score of 2-2.

I liked the signing from the beginning. It was my hope that last year was an abberation for him and he would preform more towards his career average. Liking what we see so far, especially OBP wise.

I loved seeing runners on base for the Yankees, and then Ackley come to the plate. He's a great momentum killer as we all know, but somehow Karns did walk him once.

Weird seeing Felix nibble against bottom of the lineup hitters. I wonder if he's pitching through an injury.

I'm nervous... Will this be #46 where Felix doesn't get a decision when giving up 1 run or less?

This hasn't changed. The guy has had a couple bad games at the plate. Who doesnt?

Couple? My stance was that he's only a solid player... No more... No less... He's not a star like a lot of Seattle Fans believed him to be last year... Which is why I haven't ripped on him this year... For one, it's early... Two, I don't expect a lot from him...

phew!

Felt like a Rodney kind of save though didn't it? I mean that first hit was off a good pitch, but still.
