Agreed- his swing looks more like the first of last year when he had a wild swing. He needs to slow things down a bit so he can make some good contact.

Kimbrel's a good one, he gave up 2 runs in his last outing though, so here's hoping he's like Diaz and has a few wild games in a row.

Z needs traduce all the wasted motion in his swing like he did his rookie year and then focus on an area of the plate he can hit a pitch at. He swings at everything because his vision is wide open. I forget which hall of fame hitter said it but he basically said he reduces the size of the plate with his eyes and anything outside that zone he can't even see on purpose. If the pitcher hits that spot and it is a strike they lived with it. When you are swinging at balls in the dirt and balls over your head, you don't have that plate vision you need to succeed and all the swing fundamentals in the world ain't going to help you.
