Really hope Jones doesnt get anymore starts. He brings nothing besides being a base stealer which is useless if you cant get on base. Also is very bad defensively and cant hit.

Jackson's OBP is nearly 40 points lower and is average his nearly 20 points lower here then it was in Detroit. Also has a 5-1 K to walk ratio here where as it was around 2.5-1 in Detroit. Heaven forbid this franchise can acquire a hitter that does equal here to what he does elsewhere but that just never is allowed to happen

I'm sorry, people, but if this team insists on dropping series to teams below us like Houston, then they don't deserve anywhere near a playoff spot. Even if they DO make it into the playoff picture by some freak of miracle, they're going to look like total idiots.

Since the Astros came to the AL West last year we have won 1 of the 6 home series against them. Finished this year 4-6 at home against them, were 3-6 last year

Season isn't over until you are mathematically eliminated, but losing a winnable game to Texas and 2 of 3 at home to Houston is not what a true playoff team does. To say someone is giving up on them because they make such a statement is ridiculous. It is okay to be down on them after these last few days. It is frustrating after waiting over a decade. Doubting is not negative, it is being a fan. Just saying.
