Yeah, he can still play second but I don't think they are going to go into another season with Cano playing 2nd and Gordon in CF. I believe that ship has sailed. So I think Cano is either going to play 1st or DH, which means either Healy is traded or Cruz walks.

Yeah that's a good point.

Should be interesting as to what they do with Cruz. Kind of a tough situation. He's 38 going on 39, but as of right now his power numbers look identical to how they have been for the past 4 years now.

If the Mariners were to try to resign him, what kind of contract do they give him? His season could end today and he already has had a season strong enough to justify at least a 2 year contract. But do we really want to give him a 2 year contract that will end with him 40 years old?

Luckily the Mariners have some leverage here with Cruz being purely limited to DH. I think he should be re-signed, but at what value?

Send Seager down to Tacoma, or any where out of this ball club. He has messed up more sacks loaded than anyone else-even when he's put farther down in the line up. This team is terrible with bases loaded and only 1 out.
