lol, supposed to go from showers to snow from 5-8 pm tonight in Denver with a high of 42.

YUCK.

Betting tonight gets canceled. Maybe try to sneak in double header tomorrow since it's supposed to be dry after 8 am or so? It'll still be a high of 40 tomorrow. Again yuck.

Looks like it'll be pretty nice for the Sunday afternoon game, though.

Small sample size, sure, but the confidence with which Mariners pitchers are throwing their splitters now is telling.

vs. Bryce Miller’s splitter: 3 for 24 (all singles), 8 K’svs.
Logan Gilbert’s splitter: 1 for 15 (infield single), 13 K’s

Oh crud. I didn't hear about the rain part nor the snow. Double-header might be right but I have a very important T-ball game to attend tomorrow. LOL.

Tonight's game is postponed.

Split double header scheduled for Sun

game 1: 12:10 Pacific
game 2: 5:10 Pacific

sucks for the m's. eats into their time off, but at least they have Monday off and it's only to Texas from Colorado, so pretty short flight. Still, they'll be lucky to get to their hotel by midnight or 1 AM.

i'd have thought they'd rather try to do the doubleheader on Sat, but I guess the weather is looking pretty gross for Sat AM as well.

I always thought they should have required retractable roofs on all new stadiums built since ? (whenever they were available). It only makes sense.

I agree; only teams I would give a break on that are the SoCal teams, as the added cost really wouldn't be worth it in LA or SD. Everywhere else, just do it... makes it better for scheduling other events, as well.
