I still never to this day understood the appeal of catching a foul ball or homerun... if it's a milestone homerun or like a World Series winning home run, etc. then SURE... it has a monetary value... but nobody is going to remember some dumb foul off or a homerun by the Rockies early on in the season lol. I simply don't get it....

This team is just full of smokes and mirrors … they give you hope that they’re on the verge of turning things around, then went out pulled the same display we’ve been seeing.

I believe I said on all new stadiums built not replacing existing stadiums just to have a retractable roof. If the M's could afford it, ya public money blah, blah, blah), then I don't see any of the other teams not being able to when they were replacing their stadiums like Minni or Colorado or any bad weather locations. Like somebody pointed out, SoCal wouldn't need them but a few others should have at the time of their builds.
One thing I kind of wish the public would’ve held strong was in Texas. They should’ve spent all the public money on just putting a retractable roof. IMO the Ballpark at Arlington is 1000% better than their new one. Sounds gross, but Houston and Atlanta are the only ballparks that remotely seem decent since TMobile was built. Everything else is just ugly

Probably true. Never been to any of those so I can't say. I can say that T-mobile is the best stadium I have been to though. Wrigley was awesome because of nostalgia but it is old of course.

Just personal preference obviously. I haven’t been to any of the new ones besides whatever the name of the Dbacks is. I’m just talking about how they look and for some reason modern American stadiums/architecture seem to be built for like 10 years then need an overhaul.

Is Munoz heading toward becoming another Bobby Ayala?

I always thought they should have required retractable roofs on all new stadiums built since ? (whenever they were available). It only makes sense.
I've said this for years too

Chase Field in Phoenix is not new. It’s like 25 years old. It just got renamed, used to be the B.O.B ( Bank One Ballpark )

i’ve been there a few times, even though it’s old it’s a pretty nice looking ballpark
