Locklear, Young and Ford should all be on the big league roster production wise it’s just finding playing time and who to swap. Locklear for Solano easy but Ford and Young are complicated. Young could come up and send Williamson down but Moore was really bad at 3B. And Polanco leaves a question mark cause if he stays at DH you can’t really bring Ford up but if he goes to 2B you can’t bring Young up. It’s a nice problem to have but Jerry loves his versatility and Ford and Young don’t really have any at the moment. How can he be worse than Solano? Impossible.

Something I’ve been thinking of, is if they aren’t sold on Locklear, why not put a 1B mitt on Garver?Locklear for Solano is a no-brainer.
Ford if they can dump off Garver to someone. Backup catcher and occasional DH and maybe another position once a week.
Young for the next IL guy which gives him a chance to play for a couple weeks with no pressure since he would be a temp. If he gets hot, deal with the next move then.
I don't think anyone is worse than Solano... I'll take league-min to give better performance (because they won't even put me on the field). How can he be worse than Solano? Impossible.
Maybe not by Mariners standards. And it’s not like he has been terrible this year
