I wonder if he gets the next 5th spot start? To me no cause you have mess with the 40 man to call him up for most likely 1 or 2 starts

But they can remove the other Castillo from the 40 without worry of losing him. I can't watch Castillo struggle anymore. Luckily they demoted him today.

I get that but it doesn’t seem smart IMO to put him on the 40 man just to burn an option in two weeks.

Maybe so but I personally am not sure he is a legit major leaguer long term.
