I do wonder if he is the first call up. So far, all the guys who are on the doorstep, Young, Ford, Williamson, Shenton, Locklear and Rivas have looked fine enough to come play solid defense and bat .100.
Though my gripe with the Mariners playing home games early in the year is way worse with the Rainiers playing home games early in the year.

If this keeps up, us fans are going to be pissed cause zero money will be spent in the offseason. Jerry could look at the camera and say they have a 1B, 2B and 3B for next season. And crap if Jorge keeps hitting, he will hit his option and be the DH next year

I think he set that up already with his talk this offseason about the future crap. His way getting us ready for no new free agents (shocker) because we have no room with all these kids coming up. He may not be good at baseball, but Jerry knows how to keep his job while accomplishing the minimum.
