I know it’s projections but how is Cole Philips still considered a prospect? He was great in HS but no one knows how he will pitch in pro ball cause he keeps getting hurt

I guess it’s just weird to me, cause Harry Ford is sliding in the prospect ranks but I’d bet he wouldn’t even be a prospect if he blew out both knees

Cole Young is also sliding and the fact it looks like they are rolling into the regular season with Dylan Moore and Ryan Bliss at 2nd base is alarming unless they are trying to manipulate this service time.

I don’t think that’s alarming at all really. Jerry and Justin both said he was going to start in AAA. And with how they did their offseason it seemed they were going by their script by not addressing 2B. If they were really thinking about him being the opening day 2B then they should’ve called him up to AAA to finish last season. I think their minor leagues timetable to set up fine for their projection, it just sucks because their timetable is a year behind what they need unlike the Orioles in their rebuild
