IMO it’s too late in the offseason to trade Castillo so who exactly could they get that they can afford? Aren’t Bohm and Hoerner too expensive for their “budget”. I’m darn near at the mindset of overpay in prospects to the Orioles for that package I wanted from the get go

He was only there one year before I moved back so I can't say. Jack Z was always around during practices and approachable though not a smiling sort. Armstrong was very friendly. I have posted this before but the head security guy who was a retired cop said Bavasi was the biggest jerk. Second was his Bavasi's son...lol.

I loved that guy. He had no knees and his arm was hanging on by a thread yet he gave it his all.

Whether he was up 10 or down 10 he always had the same look on the mound. I too always liked him.

My 87-year-old Italian mom complains about this all the time when she hears these women on talking like men.

Not an Angie fan in the booth. She has these talking points ready and sounds like she has them on cards waiting for each moment to bring one out instead of just talking the game. Drives me nuts. She will force a conversation based on her card at times and if interrupted goes right back to it even if the moment has passed.


Has there been any talk of who is replacing Sims or if Blowers is still alive and coming back?

Sure you may not like he style. I’m just saying in general, she still talks like her and doesn’t over compensate. That’s my problem with the women who broadcast on ESPN. They try to sound like dudes then for some reason try to make it sound like they know insert sport more than anyone.

I haven’t heard but thought Goldsmith was going to be the full time replacement.

I’m not against putting expectations on a guy but dang, he hasn’t even played legit professional ball yet let alone made it through a baseball season since signing.

Plus that article is a tiny bit misleading cause no one thought Julio would be Julio, he was Robin to Kelenic’s Batman.
