I don't care where he plays as much as I care who he is taking at bats away from. Taking them from Morrison against left handed pitching, is acceptable. But when we are facing right handed pitching, he needs to be taking at bats away from Ackley/Bloomquist/Weeks/Ruggiano, not Morrison.

It's a good pick-up. He's under contract next year as well. Guerrero was intriguing but he's still super-raw and we can't wait.

It's funny because on paper that actually looks like a pretty good lineup to me. If Cano reverted back to his normal self, our #2-#6 hitters look really capable.

Its hard to question the trade since there really isn't a down side but it just makes the lineup even more complicated and unstable than it has been by not getting an everyday starter at 1 position.

Its just such a weird roster, it is still a bunch of guys who should be pinch ran for and defensively replaced in tight games.

Ah he wasn't all that bad back then nor is he all that bad now. I actually agreed with a lot of what he said, but then again I am kind of a negative nancy at heart.

I don't think there will be a DFA yet. i think they send down Montgomery since they are saying Nuno is going to be in the rotation.

good point. I still think Jack is working n another deal to send out Ackley/WeAks/Rugg or maybe even Morrison. Nothing major in return, but a MiLB player and a freed up roster spot.
