Last night's game was one of the best games I've seen in a while and easily the best game this year. I've always been a sucker for great defense and pitching duels. Of course everything was made better with a W.

Too bad we didn't make a splash at the trade deadline or anything.

Luis Castillo 100% owns the best lineup in baseball in 3 out of his last 4 outings. Incredible.

I agree. I would have still called it the top game of the year even if they lost. That was just a gem from first pitch until late into the night.

For all of the valid criticism against the team and their batting woes, they have the top pitching and defense in the AL at least and boy were both on display last night.

There wasn't a FB under 95mph by either starter and both went over 100 pitches.

That is why you should always take away a guys name when evaluating youngsters. KKKelenic is hyped and that is what gets him a chance in the bigs while Haggerty just busts his butt and earns it. Love it.

I think the most telling part of Dipoto's inability to complete an entire roster is when you are in a playoff race after 21 years of nothing and Lamb is your cleanup hitter. The guy hasn't hit since 2017 yet here we are. Hire a player procurer if you don't want to hire a new GM. Have hime in charge of just obtaining talent since that isn't Dipoto's thing.

4-3 final, we take four of the six games against the Jankees...Seriously, that surprises me considering how we've been against other contenders.
