Love seeing the grit from M's. Hope they keep it up.

I'm not going to dwell too much on the playoff hunt. If it happens, then great, of course.

But I'm satisfied enough with the organizational changes from top to bottom to keep me optimistic about the future. After less than a season, it's clear JeDi isn't a rube with roster building or trades. Minor league performance has been good despite not having a stacked farm, which really implies excellent things from the massive amount of coaching/training new-hires last winter. I'm fascinated to see what happens this winter with the new majority owners, and how they help facilitate JeDi's plan.

Been watching and its a boring ass game. Two teams in a playoff push, somethings gotta give. Although, they did show Bill Murray walking through the concourse so they have that going for them ;-)

So the Rays and Dodgers helped us out and it looks like the Twins and Red Sox are trying to do the same. Those games should be over by the time ours starts, so we'll get a good idea of where the M's will sit in the wildcard standings, should they win tonight, before they even take the field. Scoreboard watching is both fun and nerve wracking.

Starting pitching makes all the difference. Seems like our good streaks and bad streaks have been tied to how the starters have been doing. Should be a fun homestand coming up

6-0 roadtrip is outstanding. Tough couple series coming up at Safeco with the Astros and Blue Jays coming to town. They'll be looking good if they can go 4-2 or better.

but no really once they were five games out I thought they were done. I could relax and focus on the Seahawks but no the Mariners know the perfect way to toy with my heart.

This is an exciting run. The negative nancies who gave up and declared the season "over" in July and then again in August have missed out. Even if we don't make it into the playoffs, it's been fun to see this team get up off the mat multiple times this Summer and give us relevant, exciting baseball into mid-September. I cannot wait to be there tomorrow night cheering on the King for win #9 in a row.

Yep, I'm looking at some right now....and I get them for $7 with the mil discount. A Fri night MLB game with Felix pitching in a playoff run for $7???? How can I not go?
