In NY, guys go on the DL to heal

Pedroia let this leak so he either:

A- has a built in excuse if he goes south this season

B- looks like a conquering hero by playing well through the injury

It's a faggot approach by a faggot

In NY, guys go to the DL to hold press conferences about how long they think they're going to be on the DL.

you guys talk about pedroia a hell of a lot more than we do

it reminds me of the papelbon vs. mo discussions in years past

HOW FUCKING DARE YOU COMPARE PAPELBON TO MO!!!

in the end, i'm very happy with my second baseman, thank you, and its the gravy on that is he drives a whole bunch of you bat shit mental

aint nobody in here would take pedroia over cano...well, maybe down, but the way some of you fuckers in here talk about him pedroia might as well be compared to buddy biancalana

and fuck you if he was a ss not a 2ber

Yeah but, we were talking with guys that don't feel that way

Reigning Vezina Trophy winner Henrik Lundqvist gave a surprisingly lukewarm "we'll see" when asked about signing a long-term contract extension with the Rangers. The 31-year-old goaltender has been stellar in leading the team in recent years, but has rarely received the type of offensive support needed.
Lundqvist characterized the Rangers' underwhelming season as "a step back," while captain Ryan Callahan said the team "underachieved."

And Red Sox prospects that he read could be good in 3-5 years

And prospects who he didn't read could be good but chose to hump anyways, like Lavarnway

One of these days, he'll scorched the crap out of some earth

This was the other day

And why everyone thinks Tortorella is gone now. This was done to keep Henrik around.

Overrated. Didn't watch a lot of Henrik until this series and wasn't that impressed. But I guess he has a hard time defending lucky bounces.

Six hits in one night tends to help the ole batting average, doesn't it? :omg:

yup, sure was

also, it wasnt torts who tore down the scoring at add unneeded grit. they could have used gaborik in the playoffs.

i think henrik wants to see NHL players in front of him, not one armed bums like klowe etc. he needs an offense. torts system wasnt really friendly to that, but he wasnt the problem as much as the talent or lack there of...offensively.

Well

Being I'm so bad in fantasy baseball

I traded Sergio Romo and Ian Desmond yesterday for Segura

But he's not on my roster till Monday!

So I expect him to go 98-102 this week

There is plenty of talent offensively on that team IMO. But Torts is the reason they got rid of talent like Gaborik, he wanted a team full of 3rd liners.

His system sucked and he preached defense. When you have a great top-4 Defense and one of the best goalies in the world, you should be playing a more aggressive style.
