I'm not saying he should be physically beat up (unless it's the Leafs), because it really only involves one team, no one else in the league will care about it. I meant more they'd get extra stupid freshman/rookie type duties because of it. I do hope the vets in the B's room have talked to him about it though...because if you piss off people like that then someone else probably has to come in and defend you because you're teammates, even if they think your actions were stupid.

Leafs not impressed with Marchand's 'golf' message

Some rookie player gets under opponents skin on the ice, someone calls him disrespectful, and months later he is still being torn apart for everything he does.

Marchand bitches about other teams in the press, elbows someone in the head from behind, and know mimics a golf swing to the Leafs. Now thats a respectful rookie.

And boy does this Bruins team love to talk.

Don't worry, I sent Don Cherry a fake birth certificate "proving" that Marchand is a French Canadian born Russian Swede from Finland. He'll get torn apart in the next Coach's Corner for being a "hot dog".

That's for sure. That golf swing by Peters was the most productive thing he did in his career here. Also a lousy swing.

I dont know; Ryan White took exception to Boychuks kneeing attempt and made him pay by kicking his ass (taking an instigator BTW) and no one messed with him afterwards.

He's probably on Colin's list now though.

Meh, he's still a rookie. Rookies tend to do things like this. I'm sure there will be a few guys in the Bruins locker room who will make sure to remind Marchand not to do that again. Julien for one
