As we near the end of the first full hockey season that most of us have been on this site and nearly a year since the evacuation, did you know...

The SportsHoopla NHL General Board has had 2,570 threads since the start of the season, most of them with more than 10 posts, frequently more than 50 posts, and several in the 1000s.

The Swamp has had 1,319 threads since the start of the season, most of them with less than 8 posts and only rarely over 50 posts.

Kinda shocking to me, but kudos to all. I knew the content was better and richer here, but had no idea we'd reached that level of volume.

And oh yeah... OV > Crosby.

Uh yeah I can't say I miss the swamp at all.I'm just glad rko found me out ofs random appearance back over there.I hadnt been on in months.definitely thankful for SportsHoopla surprised there's still a few stragglers who don't want to make the jump..guess they enjoy the mindless trolling.

Not sure about Model_Citizen, but I think Harvard_Oiler's head exploded Scanners-style when he predicted a team output of 410 goals scored and the Oilers scored 195 goals.

This is really nit-picky, but you said that most of the posts in the Swamp have "less than 8 posts." It would have been preferable to have said "fewer than 8 posts," since in general less deals with unquantifiable situations and fewer deals with things you can count.
