I wish Molina had a bit more power. Broner is probably the one guy in the history of boxing that I actively root against. I don't like Mayweather as a person, and his style bores me. When I watch his fights I'm usually cheering for the other guy. When I watch Broner I'm just cheering for him to get hit and hurt.

Actually I wish they had gotten one of Molina's let opponent. Specifically Lucas Mattyse. I would have confidence in him knocking out Adrian Broner. I don't really have any confidence in Molina to knock him out, and I know he'll lose on points if it goes that way.

One Time is gonna walk through Guerrero though, that I am pretty of. KO for sure, probably by round 8. His last fight was so bad he's gotta come out the best he's ever been in this fight. Pressure is on him, and he seems like the kind of guy who'll respond.

Not even sure if I'll be able to see the fights. I know that one of those weekends where NBC got their fights either the 7th or 14th, I have a baby shower to go to.

I hope it is the 14th

The only advantage I can definitively say Broner has over Molina is hand speed.

Just about every other advantage (power, reach, better chin, overall boxing ability etc.) belongs to Molina

I would agree with power, reach, and chin. I would even add heart and/or will to win. Broner is the better boxer though, and I don't really think it's that close. I mean there's about 700 Molina's in boxing, so maybe I'm thinking of the wrong one; but when I think of John Molina I think of a brawler more than a polished boxer. He's definitely a guy that will eat two punches to land one of his own.

When I think of Broner, besides being an asshole, and besides wanting to see him get hurt; I think of a slick, movement based, defensive, counter puncher. He's a guy who wouldn't take one punch to be able to land 3 of his own. Hell even with his feet planted and standing straight up and down I bet he could dodge more punches in a round than Molina dodges in a whole 12 round fight.

If that fight goes the distance, Broner won by at least 4 rounds. I'm just hoping it doesn't go that long.

Seeing no in ring announcer, entourage, or music as the fighters enter the ring will take some time to get used to.

Just as no hearing the corner after each round.

Already think I prefer fights on HBO/Showtime

Yeah, this is a cluster fuck so far. Marv Alberts silent for minutes at a time when he's the play by play announcer of 3 minute round boxing match. Plus this ref must be Broners uncle or something. Keeps giving Molina warnings for Broners fouls.

Also I had no idea the fights will be so freaking early.

Ridiculous.

I'm used to my boxing fights not starting until after 10 PM EST.

At 10 PM tonight the Thurman fight will be nearly done already

I think they're leading off with the two main events, and will show the undercard fights after that if there's time. Seems ass backwards.

I want to apologize to Referee Robert Byrd. Earlier in the evening I accused him of being biased towards Broner. Through the fight the he has proven it wasn't bias, but sheer incompetence. So I need to apologize for accusing him of being dishonest. And call him out twice as hard for being shit at what he does.

Molina looked like shit, how do you even get that far as a fighter when you only have 1 good punch (hook). Looked like someone tied one arm around his back.
