I don't know anything about him, but it can't get much worse than Chris Williams.

Okay… maybe Eric Weems is worse.

Mariani was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the 7th round of the 2010 NFL Draft and later signed a 4-year deal with the team. In week 4, he returned a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown.[6] In week 11, he returned a punt 87 yards for a touchdown against the Washington Redskins.[7] Mariani was selected to the 2011 Pro Bowl as a return specialist for the AFC.[8] Mariani set two Pro Bowl records in the 2011 Pro Bowl: number of returns and total return yards for a game.

Mariani missed the entire 2012 season after he broke his leg on a first-quarter punt return in the third game of the preseason against the Arizona Cardinals.[9] He was released during final cuts on August 29, 2014.[10]

pretty funny listening to the cbs announcers saying how explosive both teams kick returners were. Williams got his touchdown when it was what 48 to 7?

Well, I like that he was a pro bowler. But I'm not getting too excited… because so was Weems.

Yeah… that and I think he may have made it past the 25 one or two other times all season.

I'm glad Phil Emery is busying himself by rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Not sure what else he can do mid-season. Just saying...

Chris Williams and Eric Weems coulda been the exact same player for all I know. They returned kicks the same way....Run in a straight line, with your eyes closed until you hit something. This kid was a pretty good returner before the leg injury.

Plus he's a Montana boy.

Not many "moves" are made this time of year....considering, I'd say it's a decent sign.

Yeah, but Chris Williams ran in a straight line with his eyes closed until he hit something really fast.

So that's impressive, right?
