Yeah, i think a lot of us have come to that conclusion. It could be similar to what happened with Goldson last year. If someone gives Brooks 8 mil per year they are seriously over for paying him.

Yeah, i think a lot of us have come to that conclusion. It could be similar to what happened with Goldson last year. If someone gives Brooks 8 mil per year they are seriously over for paying him.

Obviously we won't pay him that and I doubt he gets that much on the open market but he's very comparable to Anthony Spencer (Spencer gets more tackles) who is about to pull in 9 and change with the franchise tag so I can't blame Brooks for asking for 8 per. Gotta keep in mind there isn't exactly a lot of starting 34 OLBs available on the market so maybe someone will blow their load.

If I'm the Giants I am drafting a TE. Perfect spot for a TE like Fleener if he runs a decent 40.

That would be a killer piece to add to their offense. Eli already gets the ball nicely to the 3 WRs could you imagine if they had a real TE lined up out there as well, a guy like Graham or Gronk? It would make their offense scary.

Their best bet is to keep Cruz as a slot receiver and look for the x receiver in teh draft to replace Mario. Someone like Kendal Wright, if he happens to fall due to his "slow time at the combine".

i could see them going after someone in the 2nd at TE. i'm thinking corner or wr in the 1st

You bring up a good point. That's why i am in favor of bringing back Manny Lawson and finding someone to come in on 3rd downs to rush the passer. I can't see Baalke giving Brooks 8 mil.
