Without the job he did holding the team together, they most likely finish 10-15 games under .500. To me the manager of the year should go to the Manager that got the most out of the players he had on the field. Having said that I still think he finishs 4th in the AL voting.

I think Leyland and Maddon get more votes than Girardi.

Francona I could go along with. Farrell hasn't really done much more than follow the most INCOMPETENT manager my Red Sox have had in decades. After Bobby Valentine ANYONE would look good!

Yeah, that will take him out but if they had made it, he would have been right in the conversation. No denying he did a great job under some pretty bad circumstances.

Whats funny is that Texas has homefield against a pitcher that Texas destroys against a team that Texas has ruined. I can't tell if Joe Maddon is trolling us or just completely tapped out just getting into the playoffs
