How in the fuck did you draft Fitzgerald and megatron first and second and get turner in the 3rd?

A lot of other guys were busy getting the bottom of the top QB's left (Schaub and Big Ben, etc) and a few others were focusing on pass catching RB's because of the PPR. Turner doesn't catch a ton of balls (insert own Benson joke) so, he's less valuable in our league because of that.

This is also why I was able to nab Fitz with the 10th pick, and then Calvin with the 15th. Some guys like to grab a top player at each position (ex: Keeper is a QB, they'll draft RB then WR to have at least a #1 at each spot) but seeing how PPR really gives the WR an advantage over the other positions, I don't mind stocking up with 2 #1 WR's early, having Peterson in the fold...and then drafting a Flacco or Orton type later in the draft. Again, some people put too much emphasis on a top tier QB and start reaching for that next tier too early when the top 4 or 5 are gone...leaving other good players available.

This was autodrafted, but:

Qbs: Freeman, Flacco
Rbs: Jamaal Charles, McFadden, Jahvid Best, Addai, Mike Goodson
Wrs: Hakeem Nicks, Steve Johnson, Jordy Nelson, Robert Meachem, Jerome Simpson
TE: Antonio Gates,
DE: Saints, but picked up 49ers D for week 1
K: who cares.

I have a draft with footballpros.com that I actually get to pick coming up Sunday. I'm in a league with Cris Collinsworth, so kinda cool.

That's a damn good Auto draft. Nicks is good, Johnson could be iffy without Evans this year, but not bad...Nelson and Meachem...if it is a PPR league, I do like Simpson (have him as a bench guy in my league) because as a starter, you know he's going to get at least 4-5 targets a game. Which is what you want in a PPR league...targets. The more target a WR's gets, the more likely he'll catch...and as a 3rd WR or bye week replacement, you could do a lot worse.

It's not a PPR league. If McFadden and Gates can stay healthy, then I'm fairly satisfied with the job the autodraft did.

QB: Brady, Bradford
RB: L. McCoy, R. Mathews, M. Ingram, B.Wells
WR: B. Marshall, B. Edwards, R. Williams, C. Ochocinco, A. Brown (yeah I drafted all the guys in need of 'redeeming')
TE: J. Finley, J. Gresham
D: Baltimore
K. Janikowski

Kinda boom or bust team..I love Finley this year and am hoping that Mathews can produce. I think SD offense will be sick this year (Rivers, V.Jax, Gates and hopefully mathews).

QB's and RB's are good, but the WR's are in need of serious help. You could get lucky with this group, but all of those guys scare me with regards to how well they'll actually play on a week-to-week basis. They'll have their games, but their consistency would worry me.

Agreed with Finley. Think he's in for a huge, huge year. Brady and Bradford is a good combo at QB....especially if you start 2 QB's or 1QB with a flex position. I would really think about taking a backup RB and trying to see if you can package something for a better WR...

I'll be keeping my eye on the waiver wire. Really wanted V.Jax in 3 but went right before my pick. I'm also hoping to parlay Bradford into a trade at some point. I think Marshall will produce (I still think he's a stud...a batshit crazy stud but I think he'll be solid in FF). I'm starting Edwards and Marshall at WR week 1 with Ingram as the flex player. We'll see...
