Lou will not fire JMac. So, MacLean should do it himself - resign. He is not capable to be a head coach. Maybe he will in the future, but now he is screwing-up this season.

I'm about 2 games away from relenting with JMac. On one hand I think it's the wrong decision, on the other I can't believe this team is this awful.

I read Lou's evaluating in two games(20th game) which i think is wayy too late personally but even so maybe he's realizing now. This is it. We keep not turning the corner. 1 win and then 3 losses all the time. I think he needs to realize that this isn't gonna disappear and the Devils just win the next 5, if it was going to fix itself it would have already.

Like MC, I'm just puzzled as to why this team can't start putting up the wins.
In Lou we trust and I'm sure he'll do what is necessary. He has some extremely tough decisions right now.

First off all, you don't ever resign as a coach unless you have disgraced yourself and the team in some way, like getting caught with a tranny hooker. Seriously. Quitting not only admits you screwed up but it shows you don't have the balls to stick with it. Something tells me if you sucked at your job, you wouldn't offer to quit to save the company time and money. You'd wait until they caught on and fired your ass.

I agree Mac is at the end of the plank here, but someone needs to push him off. I don't expect him to jump on his own.

I'm going to disagree. Right now Elias, Arnott, Langnebrunner, etc are all turning the corner. Their play has substantially improved especially their corsi. If they can get Ilya and Travis in on that, this will turn around in a heartbeat.

i just read the 20 game review today (i was wondering what the other poster was talking about) what a STUPID idea! if this team wins the next 2 games 10-0 each does that mean everything is ok? just when i thought i heard it all lou keeps showing that the game has passed him by!

takes 20 games for a review that i could've gave him after 10 games?

that 20 game review hopefully means:

Jmac will be fired but I don't want to rush a coach in the middle of a road trip with very few days in-between to get ready.

It just so happens that the road trip ends after game 20.
