in all seriousness that is a fairly negative article in the canucks light and I agree but in reality the contract is a big money contract no tears should be shed playing for the canucks.

and I really dont think the fans turned on him. They transfered to the goalie they thought was going to be here but will support him more now than ever I believe.. just dont pout and play hard. it is not going to happen but what a wonderful story for Luongo if he could win a cup here and win the conn smythe. he has so many doubters if he cant turn that into real motivation to play his best season ever I dont know what will drive him

like chapman mentioned this morning (and he would know - lol), when the province did the op/ed piece saying the Canucks should trade Lou for Lecavalier, Gillis came out the next day and called them "scumbags" lol ... so the team wasnt supporting their player????

who was the first person to bringing up the potential of a trade/move out of vancouver ... iirc it was Luongo on garbage bag day after the kings swept them in 11-12

someone should have advised Luongo to shut his yap that day

and its gained urban legend status but who's the one that advised Luongo to hold out for a deal to florida instead of accepting a move to the leafs? THEYRE "COMING HARD" FOR YA STROMBONE!
