This.Whoever the 76ers pick as their new HC I hope it's the wrong hire. I don't want to see them get better.
Think he'll hire AI as an assistant?
Would he be the main practice coach?
Reunited with Horford????
I agree - but you're evil - I like thatWhoever the 76ers pick as their new HC I hope it's the wrong hire. I don't want to see them get better.
It'll be interesting to see what happens. Especially with Lue.
Donovan has a certain amount of success that can be attributed to his coaching.
Because of his trips to the finals and winning a title, Lue has a better resume, but most give the credit for that to Lebron.
Donovan is the safer choice, but if it turns out that Lue can actually coach, he might be the better choice.
On the other hand, if it turns out he can't, it could derail a rebuild for a few years.
I just want the candidate to come in with a binder of sets/plays that he/she plans on running to make the most efficient use out of the team.
I want the candidate to do everything in their power to condition/motivate Embiid.
I want the candidate to do everything in their power to motivate Simmons to shoot.
Brett Brown was the perfect Process coach to move this team along during the Process.
Now they need someone that isn't going to be their 'friend' and coddle them.
There's no reason why this team shouldn't be top 5 in defense.
That's where we start.
Deciphering the offense will be a lot more difficult, but clearly, Brown couldn't unlock the potential of Simmons and they tired of waiting.
