LSU @ WVU - Dec. 4th

So here comes another test for WVU. I think based on both teams performance this year, WVU has the better team. At least WVU has performed better against the better competition. But I am not sure that guarantees a victory on Thursday night. WV seems to have performance issues against LSU regardless of the sport.

I think WVU is rolling right now. Not sure the same can be said of the Tigers.

The numbers are not a huge difference other than PPG - but I give WV an edge on level of competition.
I think WV pulls it off at home and wins by just about the numbers above.

LSU is a young team ans has played a soft schedule to date. They are big and tall in all areas and I like to compare the following data (Stats):

LSU's best players are Forward Sophmores 6'8" Mickey and 6'10" Martin they can change the outcome of the game if both play at a high level. In my humble opinion WVU will start out slow but will pick up the defensive pressure and create many more TO's (turn over). LSU will wilt to the pressure and WVU will defeat LSU by 20 or more points. WVU 83 LSU 60.

Thought I read that LSU has a pretty short bench. If that is the case, they will definitely wear down as the game goes deeper. Look at the affect the pressure had on a good UConn team.

WVU is #1 in the nation in steals and TO's created. Expect that to continue on Thursday night…

I expect nothing short of a victory. Too much pressure has an effect on teams, especially late in the game. This should be a win but may not come as easy as the 7 we have seen so far. I think we will see Billy Dee and Watkins Thursday albeit only for a short stint. They are practicing and I believe they will make us better. Watkins, defensively, we really allow us to increase our full court pressure especially with Williams on the bench. I am going to predict a score here of WVU 81 LSU 69.

Billy D has been cleared to play vs LSU and Watkins is still trying to get in shape and gain some weight back he lost 27 pounds while sick so he will probably be out a few more games

I hate to agree with sarcasm, but this statement may be somewhat true.

I don't think this team will do as good as some think. I hope I'm wrong.
