Im not new here and I concur with the op. It was embarassing to watch as a fb fan. At one point the lsu staff was working on a guys right leg after he had been "writhing in pain" holding his left leg. Not saying iowa was the better team they werent. That said it was sad to see a program like lsu resort to that stuff. Save those moves for the likes of cal not a program like lsu

Yeah, and I've always respected Les Miles... it just happened too many times in a row. I know the LSU D played a LOT of minutes today but come on.

For that matter, I'm hating officiating more and more these days. Some hits with the shoulder are ok.. others personal fouls. I would hate to be a DB these days.

Actually, conversation seemed better on other boards when people didn't know your team... because that's all people focused on.. putting your team down instead of actually talking football.

Iowa is what it is... not a flashy team and not a team built to come from behind at all. LSU played just like I thought they would too. Good D, but very limted offensively due to new QB.

I agree that the lSU players spent a lot of time on the ground. Not sure if it was faking injuries or they had cramps. At any rate, IMO, if a player is down the last 5 minutes of the game, then that player should not be allowed back in the game.
