The SEC should have just canceled those games, since the division championships were already clinched, and how many games you play apparently doesn’t matter, the eye test does.

The ACC was the one that cancelled games for both Notre Dame and Clemson, you can’t get upset in games you don’t play. Ohio State has played half the number of games that the other playoff contenders have. You want to be all snarky about the eye test and benefit of the doubt going to the SEC, but those are the only reasons Ohio State is in the position they are.
