r*pe is a very hard crime because people are afraid to report it. You also have people that will cry r*pe to abuse the system. Most of the r*pe charges against political candidates are bogus for example. Still, they need to investigate these charges.

The challenge with bring criminal charges against women who cry r*pe that isn't true is proven it. Remember that criminal law is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. It goes both ways. It makes it hard for r*pe victims to win and it makes it hard to convict women that lie about r*pe. People abuse the system but it is our system.
While I get that, I just don't find women credible who wait 4-5-6 years to go public, or contact the authorities.
