LSU is 9th in the SEC in both yards allowed and pass defense rating. Bama is 5th in yards allowed but 1st in pass defense rating. They're 7th in the country in pass defense rating, whereas LSU is 50th.

But Les and Nick will take the air out of the ball. Both will tell their stud running backs to only get 3 1/3 yards per carry where they can have long, time consuming drives so their defenses don't have to stay on the field too long. No quick strike scoring. Too much of a liability.

Even with CBS excessive commercials, you won't have to endure Jabba and Leia as long as you would otherwise.

I think LSU's D matches up well with Bama's O. Get pressure on Coker, make him make mistakes, get up a score and watch Kifin panic and go all pass happy.

Bama's D matches up well with LSU's O, but Fournette will get his yards and Harris will take care of the ball.

My fear is if the game comes down to special teams and coaching.

If that's the case, LSU may be fucked.
