Dude, you are high. YOu DONT make a determination on a single player after 8 whole days of mini camp. The determination to move Scherff to guard had more to do with TWO years of tape on long and the determination that HE was no more than a backup. You put your best five out there, which is exactly what the coaches have said. Long was NOT one of the est five, Moses is to big and slow to play inside. Moses didnt have to FAIL, he just had to be a better option than Long starting, which he was.

that wasn't my question. I said what if Moses failed at RT.

And I answered. If Moses failed at RT, we would have likely signed a stopgap RG and Sherff would have stayed at RT. BUt you obviously dont believe the coaches when they say they wanted to get the best combination on the field. To you its all about your mancrush on Moses and it had to be his stellar performance.

Shark, You got to be able to read between the lines. They weren't going to let the 5th overall pick in the draft ride the bench. If he failed at OT then he would be moved to RG. Luckily Moses stepped up so Scherff didn't have to go against NFL speed rushers. It all worked out b/c of Moses and you refuse to believe that.

Pass the torch?? Moses has raised the bar according to some. Word is they will rename it to the Moses Trophy and Canton will enshrine the first life sized statue of the greatest player ever.

No. I meant for last year. Not giving up on anyone. Scherff was playing no matter what. He is a better OG than OT. Do you disagree?

NO. But I also think he is or would have been a better OT than Moses.

Scherff was borderline pro bowler as a rookie. Moses was a bottom 3rd tier NFL RT.

Dean simple question for you. In bizarro world Would you trade Scherff for Moses straight up?

I think Scherff is going to be a great OG for us. Moses just has the size and arm length to play a good RT for us. I didn't think Scherff was a good OT prospect. Reasons was arm length and foot speed that is needed to be a successful NFL tackle. Scherff strength makes him a good guard with decent mobility. He fits in well with Calhans power running game.

If Moses gets hurt in training camp Scherff is not moving to RT. Its would probably be Ty. This already happened to in the game vs the Jets last year.

Dean would trade his souls, his only daughters virginity and the meaning of life for Morgan Moses..... and he would still think he got the better end of the deal.

Dean while you root against Murphy and hope he gets cut I root for all Redskins to play well but for the love of God you better hope Moses plays well this year or you're going to get skewered for the love of a so so RT who could be replaced easily.

OH I do... he was an AVERAGE RT. Which was much better than the SHITTY RT we had two years prior. There were only TWO players guaranteed to start on our o-line last year... Williams and scherff. So Moses managed to be one of the best three out of the likes of LAvaou, Long, Lerebius and a bunch of other 3-7th round picks.

Fucking Kudos to him.

Actually Williams, lavou, Litch, and Scherff were all guaranteed. Since Moses prospered in camp he got the RT job and kicked Scherff to RG. The drafting of Kojo meant something.
