They are hitting, they haven't tackled yet. League rules only allow a certain amount. I agree about having more hitting.

There is something else about Gruden that has been reported from a couple of sources and not yet fully appreciated. He tailors his system to the strengths of his players. This alone should make the game much more enjoyable for the players. Hopefully, he's instructed all of his coordinators to do the same.

I think it's one of those things where more contact is good. Then people start getting hurt, and it becomes "He's too physical with them."

Grass is always greener.
