I'll take all 3 back if the price is right. Parise even if the price is wrong.

Any rumblings about potential coaches other than our own speculation?

Judging from Hedberg's comments, he's probably not coming back. I think he'd like to, but he seems like he really wants to be with his family and didn't relocate them to NJ this season. Maybe if they ink him to a two year deal he'll stay..

Regarding Greene: We obviously need puck movers and Greene, Tallinder, Fayne and Salmela are the four defensemen we have that fit that bill. Volchenkov and White are hulks. The issue is we want to address scoring on the defensive end, but IMO letting Greene go is a step in the wrong direction.

At the same time, I don't want to have to pay him what I think he's going to get. Luckily, the defensemen potentially available this season are better than last year so we might not need to pay him as much as Martin was lucky to get.

We badly need offensive D. And Green is not he one, but I don't mind him staying. I would give up White or Salvy for offensive D.

from what I ead earlier dont count the devils out of settling for arbitration and dealing with it the following year which could be scarier since that would make him a ufa

Well there was already declaring 'time running out'so I'm not taking that all to seriously until June, we all know how the devils operate, if he had a contract by mid may it'd be shocking

Quick to lou is a week before arbitration hearing date instead of a day before arbitration hearing date. He's the only one who could drag out a contract for Kovalchuk over an entire summer.

Haha it is true. However, I think this time it was more Lou and Bettman doing a little dance.
