So two games we get double the shots of the other team and lose by one goal. One game we get about the same and win by 2. Now we are out shooting a team 3 to one and are losing by 2

It means the number of shots on goal don't mean a thing. What counts are the number of shots in goal. Kings had a total of 47 shots on goal and only scored twice. Must say something about the quality of shots. Could have been a lot different had they been able to do anything on their power play opportunities.

Not really, he pitched me 2 SOs the last few weeks. Didn't think he would play at that level all season, some stinkers will come now and again.

Unfortunately tonight was one of them.

True but in order to get a ton of shots it means you have the puck a ton. That's the Corsi stat very simplified.
While quality of shots is important, when it is that lopsided against several teams a little bad luck happens as well.
Still not panicking but a lose to the Leafs on Sunday May cause me to break out my 2012 stanley cup freeby ring and sacrifice an order of deep dried duck nuggets

Yeah, Jones and Khudobin really screwed the pooch for me last week. Fleury was my lone win but Jones gave up 6 in one start and Khudobin 5 in one start. U G L Y.

Khudobin was lights out last season, and was primed to dethrone Ward but his record is horrid (0-7-2 I think) and he simply has not taken the reigns like he should. I think by season's end he will right the ship and will enter 2015-16 as the Canes' number one because he has the talent to be a starter but he simply has failed at the opportunities he has been given this season.
