Exactly the way they started the game but for some strange reason they quit playing like that almost simultaneously with the Islanders first power play. Ever since that they've been reacting to the Islanders play instead of initiating the play. It's beginning to look like this road trip is going to be one big disaster.

No, their big guns are not stepping up - I thought Anze Kopitar was going to shoot more? He's doing the same things he's normally done, he's pass first, not shoot first - where's Dustin Brown been? 7 points in 18 games is not good for his standards - where are all the other guys? The big guns on this team aren't stepping up, it's not about losing Dustin Penner

Brown has always been streaky, I was ok with that because he would always make some big hits and frustrate the opposition. He hasn't done that this season and is also not producing so he is kind of taking a spot on the top line from someone.
