I hate this signing. Poor Chris Hogan did nothing but make plays last year. Watkins and Woods are young guys. Do we really want Percy's attitude possibly stunting their growth? 6 mill is a lot to pay. Thankfully it's only a one year contract. Sure, he'll help our ST return, but I remain skeptical.

Percy has huge upside, but these glorified kick returners really haven't been progressing (same with Patterson & Austin). There just aren't many of those empty spaces they excel in to work with at this level.

Hopefully he works out, but at least it's only a one year commitment.

It rubs me the wrong way too. To be positive though, the potential pros are:

1) I loved seeing Hogan progress and he seems to be a decent human being, but in terms of raw talent, Harvin is far superior
2) The one year contract on a guy with major character issues is perfect for a guy like Harvin. He'll have something to prove if he wants to get paid next year.
3) The Bills have had success before welcoming knuckleheads who behaved once here. Remember good ol' T.O?? He was on his best behavior while here.

Not enough nightlife in Buffalo to get these guys in trouble, lol. Even when guys do get in trouble, it's usually when they go back home in the offseason.

Chippewa St used to be worth a trip downtown, but that was long ago. Seems every time I go down there every bar has a new name and one more space has a sign "Available for Lease." It's been a while so not sure if that's changed...but good for the Bills players if it hasn't!

One last thought...not sure if you've been to Seattle, but it has some of the worst nightlife in the USA. Percy did manage to cause some problems while there! He might need that kind of outlet.

Well, apparently the contract is 3 years 24 million. Which saves 2 million this year as his bonus is spread out over three years.

...but the last 2 years are voidable. Only the remaining portion of the bonus would hit next year's cap if voided.

It all depends. If he can be a better locker room guy, maybe he will stick somewhere.
