What a mess. Why would LA want the Chargers? and it looks like Oakland is going to Vegas

As to why would LA want them...It's at least eight more Sundays of big tax revenue being raked in at the stadium, that's why the city would certainly want them!!!

That's true plus the Charges I'm sure will help pay for Stans stadium. Just goes to show you the NFL and owners don't give a crap about their fans. They will go wherever they can make money. No reason these billionaire owners shouldn't pay 60% for a new stadium when it's time for a new one. But they hold the city hostage and make them pay or leave. I'm just curious who is going to go to the Charger games?

They probably have quite a few fans in the LA area...LA having no team for so long definitely drew some of them to root for SD(or so you'd think)...

I'm sure Stan is "thrilled" to share his new stadium with another team.

I mean, how is that going to work exactly? Ring of Fame on one side of the field for the Chargers, and another on the other side for the Rams?

When the NFCW plays the AFCW on their schedules, who exactly is the "home team" when they play each other?

What a mess

You do realize that San Diego is part of California, right? They had 3 sucky football teams (+ Oakland, who made the playoffs), will still have 3 sucky football teams. This is a 120 mile move up the coast (2 hour drive, traffic permitting).

Lol you know Stan doesn't give a shit about any ring of honor's. He sees an opportunity to r*pe the charger owner to pay for his stadium and play big shot. Show that he is the head Honcho. That's all he cares about.

i didn't count them because

1. They made the playoffs and had a very good regular season
2. They are probably moving to Las Vegas soon

The NFL is a brand that seems to focus on its future and not it's past or present fans.

LA was a gold mine and it just took the 2 owners that cared more about money than fans to make it happen.

Stan's brand new "State of the Art" stadium will now be housed full time now. Every week he will be raking in mega $$. He will even be hosting future super bowls as well! Its just too bad it isn't our RAMS. I'll bet he's smiling right now! :D Fans should boycott until he puts a decent product on the field!

And how weird is it that the chargers and rams are now competing for the same coaches. :noidea: Too bad the Rams and Chargers just can't combine teams to make one they would be pretty damn good Lol. The Los Diego Charging Rams? :dhd:

This is crazy. This certainly proves that the owners and the NFL don't even need fans to attend games. they still make tons of money from the TV deals.

Chargers plan to play at StubHub Center in 2017-18

Only 30,000 seats, but the Chargers were worst in home attendance at 57K per this year. Should definitely become a hot ticket, regardless of Chargers fans angry about the move. Rams were bad this season and still finished second in the NFL (behind only Dallas) in home attendance.
