The Bengals medical staff strikes again.

excerpt~

Bengals receiver Marvin Jones is heading to North Carolina on Tuesday to get his right ankle examined by a foot specialist, a source told ESPN.com on Tuesday.

The source said Jones wants to evaluate the injury and to weigh options concerning what the team should do with him with respect to his injury-list status. The source said the belief is that Jones broke his other foot trying to overcompensate for the injury to his right ankle. The source also said doctors didn't know what any of the problems with the ankle were until just after the "tweak" when he saw a specialist.

NFL.com reported late Sunday night that surgery was being discussed internally as a possible course of action.

So he broke his other foot, the one opposite of his messed up one. So how could they be saying, "doctors didn't know what any of the problems with the ankle were until just after the "tweak" when he saw a specialist." I mean, it wasn't his messed up foot, so why the hell would the Bengals anticipate anything was wrong with it? Marvin Jones is just becoming Mr. Glass.

It said he was compensating for the injury on his other foot causing him to break his other ankle.

Not sure why the training staff is getting the wrath here.

Because he originally broke his left foot because his right ankle was injured. After all of that recovery time for his foot, he still doesn't have a healed right ankle? It was hurt again that quickly?

The kid might be made of glass.

The Bengals also added Cobi Hamilton to the PS and cut the dude they signed from NO last week.

Can you imagine if we started Cobi Hamilton and Greg Little? It would be hilarious to watch passes bouncing off hands left and right.

BTW -- This season is trending in the wrong direction. We need an upset this week.

Mike Williams wants to be traded out of Buffalo, not that he's any good, but he has to be better than Little or Hamilton

Sign him up..... At the rate at which we are getting injured, we'll have some room on the roster.

not sure where Little falls on the depth chart.

just gives the young guys some guidance and perhaps catches a few swing passes

If I recall properly, Greg Little helped us beat the Browns a couple of times by dropping wide open passes that would have been easy touchdowns. Now that he's with us he may get a chance to repay the Browns.

Maybe AJ can teach him how to catch, or we can get him some of that elephant jizz they used in the movie, The Replacements.

What's bad is the guy can get open. Tempts the quarterback to chuck it his way, then drops it.
