Kroenke is a cheap guy.
That's usually how it works. However, gotta imagine the revenue for the return of the Rams to LA would trump that of staying in St. Louis.

So UVA guy, maybe I should elaborate on who the Guggenheim Partners are.
They are the same folks who own the Dodgers!
Their pockets are deep and they have Magic Johnson as their front man or Ambassador if you will.
Are they considered majority owners of the Dodgers? I'm not too familiar with the Dodgers' ownership except that they went in with Magic Johnson. I ask because of the majority ownership rule in another sport the NFL has in place. Not that it probably matters since Kroenke still owns the majority of the Nuggets and Avalanche franchises and the NFL has yet to penalize him for it.
Kroenke deferred his ownership of the Denver franchises to his children I believe to get around the same-market only rule.
Ownership of multiple sports franchises in the same market is OK with the NFL, so the Guggenheim partners could only be Rams owners in LA.

Shops got it right UVA Guy. As long as the Rams are in LA, it works.
The Guggenheim Partners are anything but cheap too.
They have only owned the Dodgers for a couple of years now and after having one of the cheapest owners, McCormick in all of the history of Sports for a few years prior, they came in and threw $$$$ after $$$$ to fix many, many issues.
It's almost worked as the Dodgers have made it to the final four the first year they took over and made it to the post season last year after the Dodgers missed post season play 95%+ of the seasons dating back to the 80's.
Ask any Dodgers fan how they feel about the current Ownership and I'm sure you will get an overwhelming positive response.
We are of like mind brother, I would add Cheat Carrol and his adderall scam to that list of douchebaggery though...Not that I'm a Dodger fan but I know if I was, I'd be thrilled that they were trying to do whatever it took to get a World Series ring. I know my team's owner... not so much and probably one of the worst in MLB.
I'm all for whatever it takes for the Rams to be a legitimate contender again (barring Bill Belichick douchebaggery), whether it be in Los Angeles or in St. Louis.

Those are actually pretty old and all for the AEG project that tanked. I sub contracted with Gensler with some of the surrounding urban planning the ultimately won the contact with AEG. Too bad nothing happened with it
HKS beat out my old firm in the Schematic design for the Inglewood location. Not sure exactly how much has been put into it since the SD process but you can be sure they are pretty much finished with Construction Docs.

That's understandable and don't disagree one bit but I still hold a grudge to this day about that Super Bowl which is why I still think he's numero uno on that list.
Thanks Jacob, That is too bad; that place looked cool. Have you seen any pics of what the Inglewood people want to build?
