Haha! I try every few months to help spark this board, but it seems to die down after a few days/weeks. I spend more time on the NHL boards. I'm originially from Pittsburgh, so being a Steelers fan is in my blood. I grew playing hockey, so that's my other top sport.

I'm luckily not a Notre Dame fan. However, I would rather my team win a championship every five years and miss the playoffs the other four, than be runner up every year. Would you rather be a member of the Bills in the early '90s or the Buccaneers in the early '00s? Champions are remembered first, sir.

The main point is that the Steelers fans weren't so desperate for validation that they celebrated being the team to lose in the Super Bowl against Green Bay.

It's going to be an interesting year. Fingers crossed that the young Steelers of now are as good or better than the super team in the mid-late '00s.
