Brenneman (I'm baseball guy ,what the fuck am I doing football for, oh yeah a pay check),Billic (I can't remember names) , the brother of the NBA announcer ( forget their names but can hardly tolerate either's voice). Yeah I guess it is pure taste. I use to be a gym rat playing Basketball in my youth. It was my love then. But I can't watch a Bulls game, because of their announcers. And my mother's name was Funk.
Just think the Fox guys suck. JMO.

Stacy King is incredibly horribe...............:gaah:

I am guessing you don't like cliches but don't mind factual errors and nonsense:

Quantifying the best and worst NFL broadcasters. | SportsonEarth.com : Aaron Gordon Article

Hey, whatever. Announcers are pure taste. The ones I hate the most are Simms (CBS), Dierdorf (CBS), and Aikman (Fox). Your mileage may vary. And week to week, mine does too.

Gotta agree........along with Buck,Mayock(hate the nasally voice) and a few more I forgotten.

i do like Kenny albert,,Brennaman and my fave Kevin
Harlan.......

The less games on FOX, the better. Their announcers suck.
Just can't figure how fox got the NE game.:gaah: Should have been on CBS.

For AFC/NFC matchups...FOX gets the AFC home team games.

I actually like Buck. Call me crazy, but I think he's great at his job. A real pro.

People only dislike him because of his smug and punchable face. If you can get passed that, you'll actually see that he's easily one of the best in the business.

I disllike him for the pathetic way he called the White Sox world series......it stuck with me ever since. It seems he has a dislike of Chicago teams.....IMO

Yeah, that did suck. He clearly had a pretty big bias in the ALCS and WS. Wouldn't shut the hell up about "all of the breaks the White Sox got". Give me a break, that's because he was only pointing out the breaks the White Sox got. That was a very evenly called series, and the ball definitely short hopped into Josh Paul's glove.

Not to mention, the White Sox had capitalized on breaks all season long. That was nothing new. That was the most opportunistic baseball team I'd ever seen. If it wasn't for the late season collapse, they would have won 110 games easy. That on top of the 11-1 post-season run. They may have been grouped with the best teams of all-time. But that dreadful August and September.

Agreed 100%.......that team did what it had to do to win games. They had TWTW. REMEMBER THE INTERLEAGUE RECORD? The pitching staff in the post season, how many complete games? The way they regrouped and took the division after the tumble. That's what gets me about Buck. It will never leave me for some reason.

Brennaman was the one responsible for broadcasting those phony headlines of Jay. Where all of Chicago was questioning him. I new he hadn't a clue about football. When Weems pushed the ball out of the end zone on kick off that was touched by the kicking team. He has 1 of the better voices in all of sports announcing . Just wish he would stick w/baseball.

I have no issues with the announcers because sadly, at the sports bar I watch games at, I watch them in silence as usually the Carolina Game is blaring on the house speakers. You have me thinking though. Bring a lap top, plug into a Chicago station and listen to the play by play.

The radio broadcast is ahead of the television broadcast.

Trust me, I'd love to listen to Jeff Joniak over any of the commentators. However, it would be off the entire time. Not to mention, you'd hear the play on audio before the ball was even snapped.

Yep. Thats a problem. I know the over the air broadcasts are closer to real time than satellite...but still dont know if even those would work in sync with the radio broadcasts. Im out of market anyways, but Im with you- If I could get a synched bears radio broadcast with TV I would go that route.

Id much rather see Moose paired with Buck over Aikman. I also enjoy the ex Bear Tim Ryan as one of the Fox color guys. He seems to get paired with different play by play guys each season.

Me too. Just wish fox would steal the guy . Don't get to listen to him . But from what I heard from him is terrific. Just don't think the Networks want a biased guy.

I had to listen to apart of the Ravens game last season on the radio, due to the tornados and power outages in the area.

It had been so long since I did that. Clearly, I'll choose the visual experience. However, it really was a treat to listen to Joniak call the game. Even if I'd rather be viewing. He's phenomenal. Really detailed description of the game, paints a picture for you both pre-snap and after the play. While delivering the calls with so much energy and passion. You can just feel the electricity. Perfect radio broadcaster.

TV is a different ball-game, but I'm sure he could make the adjustment easy.

We always listen to the BEARS radio coverage when we watch it at home. 105.9 fm is the only way to go.

Hah, you can see a difference in TV broadcasts, don't ask me why, but they had the Bear game at my local NC watering hole, was talking to my cousin on the phone last season, he lives in Crystal Lake, I was seeing the plays before he was.

Sometimes I listen to WBBM radio (on line) while watching the games. There is a slight delay, but I really enjoy listening to Tom Thayer and Jeff Joniak. No other commentators come close.
