That's the point of playing the game, for this goal. Cowboys have been in most games since Romo has been here. With a little luck we could very well be in a good place come playoff time.

It's true injuries have played a major role in Dallas in past 2 years..... But players like Ratt, Ware, Austin all in their 30s which is when they start breaking down.

What it really shows though is a lack of quality depth. Which means we aren't drafting well in the mid to late rounds

This is one of the reasons we can't use injuries as an excuse. If We keep paying older stars and drafting players that drop because of injuries we need to expect more injuries than other teams. But, we finally look like we are changing that and the sheer number of Injuries the last two years was crazy even considering how we built the team.

Well here is my thing- with a healthy offense - anything is possible. We put a lot of firepower out there and Romo and Co. normally keeps us in games whether it turns into a heartbreaking loss or not. If only we could win those losses. I personally think we have a nice group of starters on both sides. We may be middle of the road in areas but we are are very good in places as well. Superbowl Champs

Man there's no way. We will all root for the Cowboys every second of every game, but to even put Cowboys and Super Bowl in the same area code right now is absurd. Easiest way to see where we are right now is to line our 11 starters on both sides up against the top Super Bowl contenders in the NFC. How many guys off our defense could start for either Seattle or SF? Maybe Sean Lee. But even with Lee, is that an upgrade over Patrick Willis, Navaro Bowman or Bobby Wagner? Lots of work to be done
