Has this locker room quit on Fisher?

Defense goes through this every year. Having to keep the offense in the game because they suck so bad.

It's deflating. And they get tired. They know it's Groundhog Day and it cannot be fun.

Yep it is like Groundhog Day. I said that last year the D can only hold up for so long. They are not dumb they see the Offense in practice they know they are no good. You have to think with all the 3 and outs it puts the D on the field that much more which increases their chances of getting hurt and shorting their careers which in the long run cost them big money.

Just look what Dallas is doing this year as a comparison. They have a pretty good Rook Qb that they got for next to nothing, a very good O-line that they drafted over time, and a pretty stout D that is not on the field every flippin O series and that compliments the O. The result: 11-1 with an 11-game winning streak.

Bonsignore: Despite contract extension, Rams, Jeff Fisher are likely headed for divorce

@Retroram52 @Vitamike @Rambunctious @Jermaine133

@LongtimeRamsFan42 @UVA_Guy81

"As quickly as the news broke, word was discreetly sent indicating the two-year deal essentially amounts to just a one-year contract as the Rams own the option on 2018.

They can easily walk away from Fisher after this year and just owe him for 2017.

Which means he’s got a four-week window to win their hearts back."

No one in the front office could envision 5-12 or worse when this contract was sighed. The team has been pretty darn healthy all season with the exception of Quinn. The defense was hanging tough until Fisher stepped in and benched Hill. He screwed up the secondary. I'm convinced of it, he messed with their chemistry and their confidence by doing what he did. Putting rookie practice squad players in uniform the week before we played the Saints. Dumb.

Yeah he is done after this season, he knows it. That is why he was waiving around his extension on Sunday. He was trying to quiet all of the dissenting voices. But I bet Stan will eat a years salary to do better than 4-12 next season.

Yes he does, maybe winning still brings in money in the NFL but he does have a stadium to build so you have a good point.

No he won't eat 7 million. This guy is the biggest tight wad there is.

Is that why he took out a $2 billion loan to build his own stadium, while every other owner relies on the public to fund their stadiums? He's not tight with money, he's smart with money. Not necessarily the same thing. Keeping Fisher against public outcry will cost him in ticket revenue.
